Grilled Veggie Sandwich

this is the grilled veggie. There's olive capanade in there too and "signature" side was tabouli which he said was too dry (boo!). Sorry the resolution is sorta crappy. Today we did a buffet of tea sandwiches (very english, no?) but i forgot my camera. Whats sad is that we threw most of them away, no one really wanted cucmber and watercress sandwiches.

i didnt want to eat it, so i looked around after class to give it to a homeless person. I really wanted ice cream and there was a guy sleeping outside. I didn't want to wake him so i just left it in the to-go box beside him (i'd get antzy if someone woke ME up, even for food). I hope he liked it.

This looks SO good. I often have a hard time finding good vegetarian sandwiches. Lucky homeless person!! ;)

You stink waif because you made me so hungry on Friday when I saw those pictures. My stomach growled. Multiple times.

sorry l.b., its sad really because we throw away SO much food, its sickening knowing there extreme hunger and poverty around the world. But the school cant collectivly give away the food toa bank/shelter for obvious legal reasons (we are STUDENTS so contamination mistakes are bound to happen somwhere). So its really up to the studenets to do what they please with the food. When we do individual work like these sandwiches and the man entrees i did from my intro II class a few months ago is easy to take home, but we must have had 200 little tea sandwiches thursday that nearly no one wanted.
